Miniature Macrame: Handmade Stocking Fillers

This year it is predicted that there will be an increase in homemade Christmas presents as people are looking to make connections through more meaningful gifts. Miniature Macrame Keyrings

Keyrings are one of the first things to spring to mind when we think of miniature macrame. There are so many inventive ways to incorporate macrame into an accessory, and keyrings are the ideal size for a stocking filler! Keyrings do tend to get bashed about a bit, being stuffed in pockets or thrown in handbags so you’ll want to use a strong, robust macrame cord. Our colorful cotton balls are great for making keyrings because at 2.5mm it’s still very fine for small, intricate work, but it’s a soft material.

Keyrings also double up perfectly as bag charms! Both are a good excuse to incorporate wooden beads into your miniature macrame gifts. We also love macrame bracelets and necklaces, because you can play around with combining different materials.
