Ganxxet's 5mm 3 Ply Cotton Macrame Rope is made from recycled cotton garment waste and spun into a round, structured rope that's soft yet strong. We never dye the fiber: each color comes from sorting recycled fabrics by shade. Certified to OEKO-TEX Standard 100 and the Global Recycled Standard (GRS).
Its chunky three-strand twist ties bold, full knots and gives pieces a statement look. It's strong enough for projects that carry weight or get daily use, like plant hangers, market bags and handbags, and big enough for rugs, door mats and coiled rope baskets. Untwist the ends and brush them out for a full, wavy fringe.
For finer knotwork or smaller pieces, try our 3mm 3 Ply Cotton Rope. Because it's made from recycled fiber, you may notice a few small imperfections, but they usually don't affect the finished piece. Tip: tape the ends while you work to keep them from unraveling.
